About Garden Roots

Garden Roots is a gardening companion built to make gardening easier to learn, easier to organize, and more rewarding to remember. It connects the whole season—from deciding what to grow and learning plant care to recording progress, using a harvest, and sharing the experience with other gardeners.

Every garden has a story

Our goal is to help beginners grow with confidence while giving experienced gardeners useful ways to keep their garden knowledge together. The Plant Library, Garden Journal, planning tools, Harvest Kitchen, community features, weather-aware tools, and Sage garden companion are designed to work as parts of one gardening journey.

Useful guidance, with the gardener in control

Garden Roots is designed to teach rather than simply hand out answers. Sage can use garden context to make guidance more relevant, but garden updates prepared through Sage are reviewed by the gardener before they are saved.
