Welcome to My Garden Roots. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Garden Roots website, application, and related services. By using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

By creating an account or using Garden Roots, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate and current account information and to protect your password. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post, including photos, journal entries, recipes, and comments. By posting content, you grant My Garden Roots a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute it as needed to provide and promote the service.

4. Acceptable Use

We aim to maintain a welcoming gardening community. You agree not to:

• Post abusive, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory content.
• Spam the community or post excessive self-promotion.
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt platform security.
• Impersonate others or intentionally provide dangerously false information.

5. Intellectual Property

The Garden Roots name, logos, design systems, software, and proprietary AI tools belong to My Garden Roots or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

6. Pro Subscription

Garden Roots may offer optional Pro features and a 14-day free trial. Starting the free trial does not require payment and does not by itself create a paid subscription. If you explicitly complete paid checkout, the selected monthly or annual Pro subscription renews at the displayed price until canceled. If you subscribe while trial time remains, billing begins when that remaining trial ends. You can cancel renewal before the next billing date and keep access through the paid-through or trial period.

7. Disclaimers

Garden information and AI guidance are for educational and hobby purposes and are not professional agricultural, botanical, medical, legal, or environmental advice. Use your own judgment and consult qualified local experts for critical decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, My Garden Roots and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the platform or community. You may delete your account through available account settings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where My Garden Roots operates, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes may be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
